What is the name of your Blogshop or online shopping store?
ANS :
Our online fashion boutique is named BowMent. (http://bowment.livejournal.com) It was first inspired by ribbons followed by having the desire to share shopping experiences of any sort to our customers and customers to be. ‘Bow’ represents ribbons while ‘Ment’ represent moment. We hope to create a enjoyable experience for anybody who shops with us!

When did you decide to open this blogshop ?
ANS :
Actually the idea to open this blogshop was initiated in year 2008. The skeleton of the website was created but nothing was done due to various commitments at school and at work. Finally we have decided to focus on it starting this July 2010 and was overwhelmed by the support we received!

Tell us why you decide to open this blogshop or online shopping store?
ANS :
Of course, we are shoppers ourselves and we will like to just provide people with options the same way we desire for it as shoppers. Things are growing slowly now because we just started but I am sure we will be blessed in different ways if we are meant to do this in a long run! Hope & Faith & Perseverance!

Can you tell us a bit more on what your blogshop offer? (eg. dresses, tops etc.)
ANS :
Our blogshop offers various designs and styles to meet different target groups.
However, it is basically on the conservative, chic kind of feel. Dresses, tops, bottoms and accessories such as bags etc; are all wearable for most people, common and unique I must say.

Can you share with us where do you source your Blogshop stuff from or they are self-designed by you?
ANS :
We have them from different suppliers, networking as well as importing it from overseas. However, we do have some self-designed sketches still lying around in our homes waiting for opportunity to come by. Honestly, we aren’t sure how are we going to grow just yet, but I am hoping those sketches will turn into reality and will impact shoppers and fashionistas around us in one way or another!
So, if there is anyone who want to guide is into it, we gladly appreciate it!

ANS : Our online shopping store is called ArtDrivenWerks.

When did you decide to open this blogshop ?

ANS : It was opened last August 18, 2010 in conjunction with our first time joining a Flea Bazaar.

Tell us why you decide to open this blogshop or online shopping store?

ANS : As people are heavily relying on web-based products and services, we want to leverage on this platform. Growing numbers of shoppers do their shopping online. But of course, we know that it would take a while for people to get used to this as some are still “traditional” when it comes to shopping. And trust, integrity and good service are the three main ingredients if you want your online shop to be successful.

Can you tell us a bit more on what your blogshop offer? (eg. dresses, tops etc.)

ANS : We offer original designed, sublimation-printed baby onesies and big kids’ t-shirts, and hand-made canvas espadrilles shoes.

Can you share with us where do you source your Blogshop stuff from or they are self-designed by you?

ANS : For our baby onesies and t-shirts, these are designed by an up and coming graphic designer from the Philippines, he has been commissioned by Nike Philippines previously to do some Pacquiao (the famous Filipino boxer) series of designs. The designs are then sublime-printed, meaning the printing is heat-transferred rather than silk-screened, thus, ensuring that the paints are ingrained to each fiber of the shirt or onesie. The technology of this is what makes it a little pricey than those that you can find from department stores. It is also washing machine-friendly, it doesn’t bleed when you wash it, and iron-friendly, meaning you don’t even need to iron it.

As for the hand-made espadrilles or as we call it the BOB shoes, these are made from the Philippines by also one of the up and coming shoes designer. The designer made a modern take on a classic espadrille shoes and incorporated new designs for the young who not only like fashionable shoes but as well as comfortable ones. They come in two designs, one with a rubber sole and the other one is lined with jute fiber. The shoes are made from canvass and durable fabric that make it light and easy to wash.

ANS : After numerous attempts of shopping directly from Korean online websites and we wanted very much to share these quality apparels with all online shoppers and we open this blogshop in August 2010.

ANS : We are avid online shoppers who are into authentic korean apparels and we found that the local online shopping arena is still lacking in unique Korean fashion apparels. ANS : Being fortunate enough to reside in the US and hand pick our stock personally from outlets/retailers in the USA. We started this with good intentions to help you find a good bargain that you’ll never get in Singapore retail stores! My partner handles the sale and distribution in Singapore.

When did you decide to open this blogshop ?
ANS :In July! It was my birthday and our 1 year anniversary month, so we had already booked ourselves on a flight overseas, and since we were already overseas, we decided to bring in imported clothes hand picked and selected by us! The online store was started on July 10th 2010.

Tell us why you decide to open this blogshop or online shopping store?
ANS :Quite some time back, I bought this pair of “jeggings” online, with the description on the website as a pair of jeggings with buttons that can be buttoned up. I received the package about five days later, and it wasn’t jeggings, but… a pair of really bad quality jeans that are too huge for me! I contacted the seller and told her that those weren’t jeggings but denim pants and she said it was my fault that i didn’t ask questions and that refunds were not possible. I whined and complained to my boyfriend, bruce, and he went: “A lot of blog shops almost state the non-refund policy but sell stuffs that are not what they are really selling!” So, we decided to start a blog shop that provided clothes at a fair value, and a really, what you see is what you get shop!

Can you tell us a bit more on what your blogshop offer? (eg. dresses, tops etc.)
ANS : We like to call ourselves an online store, really. There are no differences if we call ourselves a blogshop! So we are known as baked.inc, thats the core brand name, Under baked.inc, we have two different labels, Atelier females, and Holten males! Atelier really just sells everything apparels wise that a female would need, like outwear, accessories that are handmade by us, dresses, tops, bottoms, and sometimes bags. For Holten, we are more focused on graphic tees, shorts, and shirts.

Can you share with us where do you source your Blogshop stuff from or they are self-designed by you?
ANS : Our shop’s items are imported by us and hand picked personally! We get them from around the area, Hong Kong and Korea. Mainly Asia countries!

ANS : We mould style, cheap and chic.

Who are mostly your online buyers or shoppers?
ANS : Students and NS boys! Its funny thinking that sometimes the shoppers can only transfer the payment on weekends cos they are in camp during weekdays!

ANS : Thank you for supporting us, and we are not forgetting to give back to the society! As stated in the invoice we have sent out to our shoppers, 10% of the purchase amount will be donated to Children’s Cancer Foundation! ANS : I wanted an outlet to express my creativity, and also for the sheer enjoyment of receiving email orders and packaging the rings out nicely!

ANS : We sell one of a kind, handmade vintage rings.

At Apricot, we do not believe that unique jewelry should always come at a high cost. Instead, our focus is on using old vintage trinkets to re-create a piece of jewelry that you can call your own. Each piece is unique and limited in quantity, hence making it truly exclusive and special.

Our Design philosophy is “Masculine-feminine elegance” which gives a structured, yet edgy feminine look at the same time.

Our vintage centerpieces are imported and usually one-off. No re-makes are possible unless otherwise stated.

ANS : I was in Shanghai when I saw a plethora of notebooks and organisers and I was thinking to myself that, these are all so nice but I cant bear to use them because I have terrible handwriting! But I have a weakness for well designed notebooks, on top of that I have tonnes of nice unused notebooks at home. Then it struck me, why not buy them, (I make myself happy) and sell them away, (and make other people happy too!) With this shop, I can continue my hobby of buying notebooks and also share these great looking notebooks with other people too!
