It's about the story a teenage girl named Susannah who can see and interact with ghosts to help them move on in the afterlife, which is pretty similar to the American television show 'Ghost Whisperer'. She meets and falls in love with Jessie, a handsome 150-year-old ghost, who became her close companion and helped her with all the mediator business throughout the series. In every book Susannah has a different ghost encounter.
